Low Price PlayStation 3 120 GB

Been a 360 fan for years.Never thought i would grab a ps3 but now that it had a few games and a cheaper price and would fit with my other home theater equipment i figured i would grab one.
I own a 52" sony bravia 1080p tv that i hooked this up to.I used the best hdmi cable set all the settings to where they need to be on the console and now heres my review.

Build quality
Far better built than my 360 nicer looking but a little to big they may have slimmed it but its still large.It has alot of nice features in the hardware department bluray wireless bluetooth etc.This is all great but it doesnt make up for its lack of other important things.

Software
Theres a few games that are worth a purchase here nothing as good as 360 library in quantity.Quality isnt a problem they just need more.The menu system is awful compared to 360 its a mess.Its much more advanced and home isnt to bad it beats 360 avatars and there online pricing is better at the store.

Bluray
I really dont get it at all.I watched spiderman and to be honest there wasnt the same wow factor as to when i watched king kong on hddvd.It just didnt compare maybe because im used to hd now or maybe it just isnt that great the sound is outstanding tho.

Stuff that really pisses me off
The stupid thing throws me out of full pixel mode on my tv when playing certain games and i figure it may be due to the ps3 not upscale games to 1080p my 360 never had that problem.Voice chat sucks i cant get together with people as easy as 360.No in game music which is really stupid.


Its worth 300 but no more than that.If you want a better software experience and online go 360 altho you have to pay it just works.

Save PlayStation 3 120 GB

The only thing you are gonna come out on top with the ps3 slim is that it has 120gb. You can always upgrade though so this really dosent matter. Besides that its a cheaper system than its predecessor, in more way than one. The Wifi compatibility is horrible, it is uglier than the xbox, which is saying a lot. Yes, it saves space, but it looks absolutely horrible with my glossy tv stand, DVR, and TV. In my opinion this is for the people who cannot afford the previous version. Also it has PRESS buttons rather than those nice futuristic TOUCH buttons. I would much rather throw out the extra 100 and get all the better features besides being smaller. I think Sony should have spent a little more time on this one. Get more detail about PlayStation 3 120 GB.

got this from a local bestbuy.
its OK as a console, its not crap,its not amazing.
it has its fair share of flaws. see no point to get this if you already have a ps3(fat).
there no more "other os" which is lame.
not backwards capable anymore at all which is a HUGE flaw.
2usbs instead of 4 a flaw for people with 4 controllers of coarse.
expendable harddrive is nice.
As a dvd/blu-ray player it is flawless,even the dvd up scaling is amazing but sony still wont kick you an hdmi cable in the box.
i like the look of the other ps3 alot better both aren't too amazing looking but still nice on the eyes.
uses less energy but not enough to where you'll be shocked on your next energy bill.
online is still not as pleasing as xbl but it is free.
wifi's ok for me,not as good as my xbox's connection,but nothing to write home about.
blue tooth is hit or miss, an just dont like blue tooth at all even on cellphones.
seeing ton's of fanboys riping anyone to pieces if you didnt write a pure love review,but i dont care.
if you dont got a ps3 an want a GREAT blue-ray player with some ok games then get a ps3 now,price is pefect.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 120 GB.
