PlayStation 3 120 GB Decide Now

The PS3 has lost too many exclusives - Final Fantasy XIII, Devil May Cry 4, Assassin's Creed and Grand Theft Auto IV among the biggest. The exclusives it does have are not worth a $299 console - Infamous, Uncharted, LBP and others are merely average games. The PS3 is still too expensive for what you buy a video game console for - video games. There are only 3-4 games worth playing right now, so buying this doesn't make sense. Perhaps when God of War III comes out will make more sense.

This thing is also massive - huge, about as big as the 360 (without the power brick). So much for being "Slim," right? Compare it to the PS2 Slim - I know the PS3 has to be bigger cause of the Hard Drive but man this thing is huge. Also there is no backwards compatibility so now I have to keep my PS2 to play my PS2 games. Sad. I know.... =(Get more detail about PlayStation 3 120 GB.

I just picked up a second PS3,for my home Entertainment center and thought I would just use it as a blue ray player but I was wrong,I thought this was going to be ugly next to my fat ps3 but I have really started to like this version a lot better,its so much quieter than my 1st gen ps3 and lighter.I have to say this is by far the best piece of home theater gear i have bought in a long time,i wanted to get a stand alone Blue Ray player but for 100$ more you get so much more.Excellent product Sony and it Decodes both True -HD and DTs-Master which is awesome. I've owned a 360 and Wii since shortly after each launched. The price of the PS3 always held me back, but when the slim came out with the new price tag, I decided it was time to take the plunge, and I'm glad I did! It's sleek low profile looks great in my entertainment center and is nearly silent when compared to my (twice repaired) 360. The games look just fantastic! Be aware that this doesn't come with an HDMI cable, (only composite) so if you are hooking up to an HDTV, be sure to pick one up.
